Bike n' Eat è un tour gastronomico su due ruote nato dall'iniziativa degli studenti UNISG, originariamente ispirati dall'organizzazione SlowRoll di Detroit e appoggiati dal The Bike Republic di Torino.

Ormai alla sua quarta edizione il Bike n'Eat ritorna in Collaborazione con il bikeTOnight (https://www.facebook.com/My-bicyclette-619310801483758/events) e il Bikesharing TOBIKE.

Il tour vi porterà alla scoperta dei luoghi meno conosciuti di Torino, esplorerà le periferie della città di Terra Madre Salone del Gusto mostrando come le comunità abbiano abbellito i loro quartieri trasformando spazi abbandonati in luoghi dedicati all’agricoltura, all’apicoltura e alle arti murali.

Degustazioni, incontri con i produttori, aneddoti enogastronomici della città, visite di luoghi simbolo della gastronomia torinese e progetti alternativi ancora poco conosciuti saranno solo alcune delle attività che avrete l'occasione di fare! Dagli edifici meno noti ai punti panoramici, dai murales fino ai progetti comunitari.

Il tour partirà dallo stand dell'Università di Scienze Gastronomiche al Parco del Valentino.

Il pagamento dovrà essere effettuato prima della partenza sempre allo stand dell'Università, al quale si richiede di arrivare almeno con 15 minuti di anticipo rispetto all'inizio del tour

Bike n'Eat is a food tour of urban spaces on bike started by UNISG students inspired by SlowRoll, a grass-roots organisation in Detroit, and helped by The Bike Republic in Torino.

At its 4th edition the Bike n'Eat is back in collaboration with bikeTonight (https://www.facebook.com/My-bicyclette-619310801483758/events) and TOBIKE
The overlapping of these activities will create a new smart way to discover the city and stay fit, driving you round the less known suburbs of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto and showing you how the communities have transformed theirs abandoned neighborhoods into places dedicated to agriculture, apiculture and arts.

Tastings, knowing gastronomers, visiting the most interesting gastro-places and gastro-people in Turin, traditional small productions and old selling places will be just few of the activities you will have the chance to do.

The tours will start at the University of Gastronomic Sciences' stand in Parco del Valentino.

Payments at the same stand before the tour.

Participants should arrive 15 minutes before the departure.

Una pedalata che si snoda tra il Centro della città, il quartiere Aurora e Borgo Dora per scoprire la storia e i luoghi delle eccellenze torinesi. Nella Torino capitale del Gelato non poteva mancare un intero tour completamente dedicato a questo storico dolce, per scoprire tutto quello che ancora non conoscete.

Dalle sue radici storiche, che lo legano indelebilmente alla città, fino a interessanti innovazioni e esperimenti che l'hanno visto protagonista di nuovi progetti culinari.

Alla scoperta del gelato di bufala, del gelato mantecato al momento, del gelato per gli chef e del classico Pinguino.

Ce ne sarà davvero per tutti i gusti!
