A place
at
the table

Sunday, September, 25th
Let’s get fancy. Imagine this: Sunny Turin, late summer, a beautiful space filled with art and a marvellous dinner.

This exciting food event is the beginning of a journey; a collaboration between Slow Food Italy and Sermig at Arsenale Della Pace and a partnership between two cities; Bristol and Turin.
The mission is to create delicious meals using waste and surplus food and at the same time to address the twin challenges of food waste and food poverty. A dedicated group of UnisG students have teamed together with Barny Haughton, food educator-chef from Bristol UK to deliver this unique dinner at the beautiful Arsenale Della Pace.

Included on the menu will be Bucatini All’Amatriciana in a tribute to the citizens of Amatrice, many of whom lost their lives and whose town was destroyed in the earthquake of 24th August.
All with the aim of raising funds for to support different project:
Sermig, un'amatriciana per Amatrice, SlowFood Migranti, next Food Square Foundation project in Torino.
Come eat and celebrate together with us!
